About Us
Welcome to STATUS 7 international.
A collective whose passion for this lifestyle is left unbounded where our aim is to chase the highest rank, wherever that may be. We are called Status 7, Seven, for a few reasons. We aim to inspire and motivate those, whether in our club or outside of it, to reach the "Status" of being a role model in whatever community they may be. The number "7" is a number that is signified as "fortune" and "luck" and therefore it is something that is manifested upon with the name.最速, (said as Saisoku) means "Fastest" in English, as we will achieve our goals in the fastest way possible, in any which way we can. We choose to include it as part of the moniker and subculture of our brand, as it not only has to do with cars.
As our collective takes heavy inspiration from Japanese culture, the highest rank in Japanese video games is "SSS." (Saisoku Status Seven)
Our Dream to Reality
Our dream is to establish ourselves in the car community as the collective that is not only is well versed in what the current status of the car community is, but also outside of the car community. Whether it is local, domestic, or internationally. Despite being mostly a club based in Southern California, we think internationally because it is a big world out there.
2018-2019
We first started as a collective like any other in search of other likeminded individuals who have a passion for cars. Overall, a collective that one can call "home." We started with a single canyon cruise at Sunset to the top of any canyon, aptly named “Sunset Run.”
2020-2021
In 2020, the world, including us, experienced a deadly virus known as COVID-19, leading life to a standstill. Until remotely safe, we decided to help out a local coffee shop that is home to some of our members, Aroma Craft Coffee. We’ve done numerous events there for the business as well as selling slap decals of our own that we used proceeds for No Kid Hungry.
By popular request, we have also hosted a night event for a local Tastea. Our event was aptly named Tastea Nights, where arguably has been our most popular event. We made decals which proceeds have gone to numerous charities that bring awareness to mental health as well as suicide prevention.
Beyond
Our mission after 2021 is to bring whatever we are doing now to a larger scale. We want to change the world a single step of the time.
Our Vehicles of Choice
We are mostly well endowed with Japanese machines, of all drivetrains, of all displacement, of all kinds of brands. From the likes of Hondas and their agility thanks their array of lightweight platforms such as the Civics ranging from the Si to the Type R, the S2000, Honda's answer to the roadster, or even the Del Sol, an underrated gem, to the likes of Mitsubishi with the Lancer Evolution series best known for being an AWD machine with stability that has potential to make easy power, thanks to the stoutness of the 4G63T or the engineering with the 4B11T. And Subaru, famous for the STI's Unequal Length Turbo Manifold sound and being a WRC champ, or the FA20T, being one of the newest engines to come out of Subaru with tuning potential. With these being the main brands of our current lineup, we've acquainted ourselves with other brands with their respective popular cars.
We do not limit ourselves to Japanese vehicles and actually have had our fair share of American and European. We are always welcoming to more.
What does it take to join?
We look for individuals whose goals align with ours—to not only be an individual with a status in the community as someone who has a cool car, but someone who can take the time to help the world around them with the help of their car. The individual doesn’t have to have the most built car out there, but instead, have one that has their own execution and mindset put into the car making it unique.
